New stuff!
Hello, all 102 of you!
It’s been a lonnng time since I set up this Substack thing in the wake of my interview on TRIGGERnometry. Most of you are probably here from that, but if not, here is the ever-loving link!
Since then, a lot has happened! I’ve spoken in a bunch of really interesting contexts about gender and autism, but also about religion and the bigger questions in life.
Even though I’m abominable at keeping on top of things, I’ve decided I really want to devote proper time and attention to my Substack, so from now on I will be (God willing) posting on here every week.
I’ll be uploading some EXCLUSIVE (lol) training sessions I’ve given about understanding transgenderism, as well as sharing articles I’ve written, podcasts I’ve appeared on and video from wonderful events like the Battle of Ideas.
The reason I stand here before you today proffering my first post since July 2023 is that a podcast has just ‘dropped’ (as the kids say) with me in it, and an encouraging friend has kept poking me to make sure I share it.
The podcast is called The Next Generation and it’s hosted by Elliot Bewick, former producer of TRIGGERnometry, and one of my dearest friends. He’s only 19 (but his mind is older) and has a passion for helping Gen Zers engage with different viewpoints and build meaning in their lives. If you watch for a few minutes, I think you’ll agree he is truly remarkable and one to watch for the future!
Now, Elliot is agnostic and I am a ‘Chrizzo’ (his word), and I’ve lost count of the number of hours we’ve spent in deep discussion over cosmic matters. In this convo, Elliot quizzes me about morality, whether a society can flourish without God, and the age-old question of suffering (which he helpfully chucked in at the end, doubtless to catch me off guard, the wily goose!)

Anyway, that’s all for now but I really hope you get something out of the stuff I post. I know life is busy so my mind is blown that anyone has even read this far!
Thank you so much and bless you,
Soph x
